Great article Matilda! Definitely something I'd file under "dumb stuff I worried about in my 20's and 30's that no longer bothers me", though I do find sometimes concern or confusion from a newer partner requires me saying something to make sure they know it's not something they are doing or not doing, usually ending with laughter and the issue going away easily on its own.

The ending paragraph of this piece is gloriously good btw.
