I disagree with generalizing people so much on age--mindset and compatibility are so much more important factors. Following my separation in 2020 I dated two women in their mid-30s and both were--still are--simply wonderful people. I do think plans for having children is a notable factor at that age. But I know women in their 50s who approach life with more wonder, joy, and dancing-barefoot-in-the-grass than a lot of 20-somethings. Having dated in ages ranges encompassing both, I can say without reservation: for me it's mindset.
