I like it. Solid writing, witty, provocative, but still a sense of humility, of asking instead of telling...many claps. I'm ENM among a sea of more traditional folk, so I'm used to the raised eyebrows and head shaking at my perspective on relationships. But there are fundamentals here you are (perhaps?) hinting towards that I think are worthy of anyone's consideration: attractiveness to a partner is about knowing one's own worth, don't "fight to keep" someone who doesn't want to stay, we never can nor should try to "own" someone else (a good BDSM dynamic playing that role excepted). My experience is that we just travel in each other's orbits for a time, whether tightly or loosely, whether for a day or the rest of our lives.
