It's an interesting imagining, though it feels to me like a literal response to a rhetorical statement. And one that clearly has put you on the defensive (and you are not alone in this). I might gently suggest the better question to consider is why the targets of your concern are engaging in the hyberbolic fantasy of a world without men. Hyperbole is a mechanism for emphasizing a point. That point, as I see it, is that they are fed up with the abuse and diminishment of women in our male dominated, patriarchal culture.
I share this concern. And I’m also concerned about how the gender-based generalizations are impacting men and boys. We’re all going to need to improve our ability to be empathetic, and listening to the emotion behind the words.
