It's hard to be kind here, author. Poor writing, bad layout, stereotypes, assumptive thinking, stating opinion as fact, no research citations...I hope this was some satire that just landed badly instead of some kind of actual advice.

On a related note, Medium needs to find a better algorithm for assessing and surfacing quality over dramatic schmaltz.
