Oh Yael this is just glorious! Heartfelt and wonderful. I felt like I was right there with you for the poignant re-meeting with little Aiden. This was beautifully written and is a worthy message.

I know this from my own life experiences: sometimes you never even realize how much that one hug you gave, that one consoling conversation, meant to that particular child (or adult...anyone can need a bit of nurture).
