My personal view is pretty clear (though perhaps I could've stated it more unequivocally if you thought not?). However, for many people this issue is anything but clear cut, and they often operate from a fundamental "sex is bad" standpoint wrt a child's socialization (Shoe and Vaush are good examples of this: even kink-savvy folks can have this blind spot). I'm trying to meet those folks where they are to convince them to consider other points of view...gently instead of forcibly. Co-parenting with an ex who has a more traditional view than my own gives me an appreciation of this sensitivity. That said, I appreciate your point-of-view and suspect you and I would agree on many things here. Thanks again!
