You've carried us all away to the memory of being children realizing the brokenness of our parents. I let go of the resentment I had for my own mother a few years ago and it's transformed my own journey as a parent. Powerful juju. Pure poetry in your evocative words here, Yael.

I'm reminded that a howl can be deeply mournful, and is to be shared by one's pack.
